The "Feel Alive Fitness" Program and Business Policies:

Basic Program Policies
I believe that the following policies clarify basic business policies and help to develop a relationship that is based on a reciprocation of responsibility. My commitment to you runs deep!
Training session length:
Each training session is based on 55-minutes, although longer and shorter options are available on request.
Trainer-client ratio:
Individual (one-on-one) training, small-group training, and phone consultations are options. Most of my clients choose the specialized attention and focus that one-on-one training provides. However, my role is to meet you where your interest, need, and desires fall.
Promptness:
To get the most of your time and efforts, please be ready to exercise at the appointed time. Because clients are usually scheduled before and after you, or your trainer may have scheduled a meeting or personal development time immediately after your session, workout times cannot be extended.
If a trainer is late for your session – late is defined as 5 minutes after your scheduled starting time – the training session will be extended if possible, and regardless, you will be credited with a complimentary workout. I want your commitment and you have ours!
Cancellation of your scheduled workout and missed sessions:
You will not be charged for sessions that you cancel with more than 24 hours notice. You are allowed one late cancellation per every four scheduled workouts. For example, if you workout 12 times per month, three late cancellation notices would be allowed. If you workout four times per week, one late cancellation notice would be allowed.
The full session fee will be charged to clients who cancel with less than 24 hours notice, or if late cancellation exceeds one per every four scheduled workouts. Excessive cancellation, regardless of notice time and resultant payments, will be discussed between the client and me. Your program will not be as successful – obviously, even if you pay for missed sessions – if your attendance is not consistent. I want the best for you and want to earn the money you invest toward your health.
If I miss a session with you, regardless of my reason, a sincere apology will be forthcoming immediately. Although crises do occur, I believe that missing sessions is not acceptable. I respect and value your time commitment too much. The missed session – if you were not provided with at least a 24 hour notice – will immediately be rescheduled at your convenience, with no charge. Additionally, you will be credited with a complimentary session at my expense. I don’t take our commitment and service to you lightly!
- Rescheduling appointments
If you would like to reschedule an appointment with less than 24 hours notice, I will do the best to accommodate your request. Although I check for messages regularly, I am booked well in advance and often consecutively. I also have obligations that include attending scheduled meetings and preserving self-development time. If I cannot accommodate your request and the request comes in with less than a 24 hour lead time, you (the client) will be charged for the scheduled appointment.
If I must reschedule or cancel an appointment with you, and do so with less than 24 hour notice, the scheduled session will immediately be rescheduled at you convenience, with no charge. Additionally, you will be credited with a half priced session at my expense. Responsibility is a two-way street.
- Payment for services
All training sessions are guaranteed 100 percent, unconditionally. If you are not satisfied within reason, with your training session, your entire session fee may be refunded. I appreciate your positive criticism and the chance to correct any problems.
If you have not entered into an agreement where your training sessions are paid for in advance, all fees are due upon receipt of Feel Alive Fitness invoice. When invoices are overdue two weeks, it is Feel Alive Fitness policy to suspend training services until your outstanding invoice is current. In cases of repeated delinquency, for example, a number of outstanding invoices, I require that all services be paid for in full in advance of the services being fulfilled. Prompted payment of your training fee or fees related to other services rendered, saves me administrative cost and time, which allows me to better meet your health and fitness goals.
Feel Alive Fitness accepts personal cheques and cash as payment.
- Training location
Training sessions will take place in the privacy of your home, at the ‘Feel Alive Fitness’ private facility, or at a mutually agreed upon training location (i.e., outdoor training challenge or public facility, provided we can gain admittance).
